A common reason the camera appears black and doesn’t display an image is that Flirty does not have permission to access your camera. You can grant Flirty camera permission through your mobile phone’s settings.
For Android:
- Open Settings:
- Go to your device’s home screen and tap on the Settings app.
- Navigate to Apps:
- Scroll down and select Apps or Applications (the name may vary depending on your device).
- Select the App:
- Find and tap on Flirty.
- Open Permissions:
- Tap on Permissions. This will show you a list of permissions the app has requested.
- Grant Camera Access:
- Find Camera in the list and toggle it on to grant permission.
- Confirm:
- The app should now have access to your camera. You might need to restart the app for the changes to take effect.
For Apple iOS:
- Open Settings:
- Go to your device’s home screen and tap on the Settings app.
- Navigate to Privacy:
- Scroll down and select Privacy.
- Select Camera:
- Tap on Camera. This will show a list of apps that have requested camera access.
- Grant Camera Access:
- Find Flirty in the list and toggle the switch to the on position to grant camera access.
- Confirm:
- The app should now have permission to use your camera. You may need to restart the app for the changes to take effect.
If that doesn’t resolve the issue, ensure your camera is functioning properly. If the camera is working but the problem persists, try uninstalling and then reinstalling Flirty.
